Ever heard of Denmark? Home to the Happiest people on Mother Earth! If not it’s about time!
Besides giving you all the opportunity to create disruptive products and services with Danish created technical fundaments like Ruby on Rails and C++ Denmark is home to world-known innovators like LEGO, Vestas Wind Systems, Novo Nordisk, Carlsberg and Maersk. So, we know this sounds pretty rad but how intriguing can the Danish startup scene actually be?
As Fortune wrote: "[..] soon we won't be asking, "Where's the next Silicon Valley?" Instead the question on everyone's lips may be: "Where's the next Copenhagen?".
The Danish startup scene is emerging and well worth paying good attention to. It’s not all that rosy for Denmark, though. High taxes on business’ and a high general cost of living makes starting a company in Denmark a bit more unappealing - for some. But with a massive young talent mass and a government trying to provoke entrepreneurship are Danish entrepreneurs becoming more and more globally known.
We are here to help promote and brag about our Danish disruptive startups.
What do all these companies have in common?
- They were founded in the Happiest Country in the World within the 21th century
- The teams behind are awesome
- They all get paid in LEGO bricks.
